  • Where are you?

    We’re in Salt Ash, Port Stephens in NSW – just a hop, skip and a jump from Newcastle or Sydney. 

  • When are your opening hours?

    Office hours are 8:30AM to 5:30PM

    All sessions are by appointment only. 

  • How do I make a booking?

    Head to our How to Book page, fill in all the required information with your preferred dates and press submit. We’ll get back to you within 48 hours.

  • Does paintball hurt?

    It depends on where you get hit, but it is usually just a quick sting. Our protective gear will keep you safe!

  • Is there a minimum age for paintballing?

    Here in NSW, the minimum age is 12 years old and players under 18 must have an adult sign a waiver form on their behalf. You can find these forms on our How to Book Page.

  • How much does paintball at Hellfire cost?

    We offer a number of different packages, read more about them on our Packages page.  

  • What’s the minimum size for a group booking?

    You need 8 players or more to open a field. If you have less than 8, contact us and we may be able to include you with another group.

  • Does all my group have to buy the same package?

    No, you don’t have to buy the same package as everyone else in your group. The average player shoots approximately 500-1000 rounds per session, while others can use 2000 or more. Every player is different and you can buy extra paintballs if you need them.

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?

    We require a deposit of $30.00 per person at least 7 days prior to your playing date. This guarantees that your date will be available for you. Please call the office if you need to play within 7 days. The earlier you pay your deposit, the more likely your date will be available. You can pay by direct deposit, EFTPOS, credit card, or cash.

  • Do I get a refund if a player does not show up or decides not to come?

    Yes, if you give 2 days’ notice. If people fail to turn up on the day without this notice, there is no refund available. The $30.00 deposit made at booking is non-refundable and non-transferable to another player. 

  • Can I add more players to my group after booking?

    It depends, please update us as group numbers change so we can accomodate these changes. 

  • Do you have food and drinks available?

    Yes, we have a variety of drinks available, such as PowerAde, Coke, water.


    We also have BBQ’s available for groups who wish to do their own sausage sizzle. Please let us know at the time of booking. 

  • Do we still play if it’s raining?

    Yes, we play in all weather — come rain, hail or shine. Unless, of course, it is unsafe to do so.
